Michele - Very Good. 4 stars.
Radio Outlaw - Even though I'm a big, early Spielberg fan, I avoided seeing this movie for quite some time on purpose. Now I wish I'd seen it sooner,The parts that were tough to watch were short and the story of this man was unbelievable.Don't miss it! 4 stars.
The Illusionist - 2006 -starring Edward Norton, Paul Giamatti
and Jessica Biel.
Eisenheim falls in love with Sophie. They are separated and then find each other again. Then Sophie is murdered and the fun begins.
Michele - Very Good. 3 1/2 stars.
Radio Outlaw - A good movie but if you're going to see one magician movie see The Prestige.I had this one figured out halfway into it, but the Prestige kept me guessing until the end! 3 stars.
Hard Candy - 2006. Starring: Patrick Wilson, Ellen Page. Director: David Slade Rated R.
A true entertainment news report out of Japan spawned Hard Candy. Ruffians would pose as underaged kids on the internet to lure pedophile businessmen to private locations with the promise of a one on one sexual encounter only to show up as a group of thugs and mug the would be molester. Hard Candy is the story of a 14 year old girl who captures and torments a 32 year old internet preditor within a single isolated location
Michele - 2 stars.Acting was good, story was implausible.Whoever wrote it needs a help because it was pretty twisted.Difficult to believe that he would continue to believe her to the end after she had shown him so many times she was lying.
Radio Outlaw - 2 1/2 stars.I got it because Ebert & Roper gave it 2 thumbs up. I can't rely on them anymore because half the time it's Ebert I rely upon and when it says Ebert & Roper half the time it's not even Ebert but some "guest" critic. This movie was good for the first half but I figured she was bluffing half the time and when he was tied in the chair it looked like he could get out. I never understood what she had on him because he broke free a couple of times and never escaped or called the polce. Very hard to believe.
A waste of my time. If she's cutting your balls off you'd feel that.
Look Both Ways - 2005.Starring: William McInnes, Justine Clarke
Director: Sarah Watt Rated PG-13.

An artist who constantly imagines disasters, witnesses a train accident kill a man, meets Nick and a relationship develops.
Michele - 3 1/2 stars. What was weird was it was well written and acted but I just didn't care for it.There's definitely talent in that movie. The montage at end was good and the animation was fine. i just don't like movies that are depressing.
Radio Outlaw. 2 1/2 stars. This movie got an average of 4 1/2 stars out of 5 on Amazon.com's review section by 7 reviewers! It was okay but nothing exceptional. Michele thought the acting was great .I wasn't as impressed with it. Again this was 2 thumbs up from Ebert & Roper and their credibility is starting to wane.
The animation was primitive and the storyline good but I never really got "into" the characters and cared about what happened to them.
